How to Rent Your House for Filming
The Location Partnership library includes a spectacularly diverse portfolio of film locations, and we are always on the lookout for new location houses for photoshoots and filming, that we can offer our clients for their next shoot. Your property may be incredibly ordinary or truly extraordinary, we love locations of every description. Film directors, Photographers and Location Managers are constantly looking in the library for apartments, flats, family houses, suburban houses, country cottages, beach houses and country houses of all styles and sizes. Filming takes place across the whole of the UK, so wherever your property is located, or whatever the look and style, there is a good chance that it will get considered as a location for a director’s next shoot.
Renting you house out for filming is an easy way of making some additional income., It can also be quite a fun experience, plus you may see your house featured in a film, TV drama, fashion campaign or commercial.

The ideal houses for filming both look good and have the room to accommodate all those people and equipment behind the scenes – the film crew, the playback monitors, the lights, the clients etc.
Register Your House for Filming
To start the registration process, please take photos in both landscape and portrait format and in good daylight. If you’re registering a house, please include shots of all the main rooms, the sitting room, the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, garden and the exterior of the house. Please send images taken from all angles, as this will help directors and photographers understand the potential that your property has to offer.

There are no fees for registering your property with Location Partnership. When a shoot confirms at your location, we take a 20% commission on the agreed location fee.
From registration, through to enquiries, recces and confirmed shoots we are here to offer guidance and to keep you fully briefed on what to expect when the film crew arrives for a shoot. We will draw up the film contract, check insurance details, take payment from the film company, including a damage deposit, and hope to make the whole experience both enjoyable and financially rewarding.
