This iconic and romantic Scottish castle is set on an island in Loch Linnhe. It's small, but perfectly formed, with a basement, great hall, sitting room and 4 bedrooms. Only accessible by boat apart from low spring tides, it's extremely photogenic and has featured on many an advertising campaign over the years.
Bought in 1969, it was restored over ten years, and the castle is still owned and used by the family, being fully inhabitable, with running water, electicity and a working kitchen and bathroom.
The nearest station is Connel Ferry. Glasgow is the nearest large station.
